- "Simon's Replacement ETZ 301 Saxon Tour"

of Laptop, Autoroute and GPS. Following a twenty minute detour, Simon purchases
a replacement ETZ 301. Splendid !

- "RF - Various !"
Completed Tax and Insurance. Completed replacement of the airbox bolt. While
refitting the airbox the oil pipe came adrift.. Not ideal.. So I took the opportunity
to flush the oil tank and refill with Fully Synthetic Two Stroke Oil (!) Trimming
the end of the oil pipe to ensure good fit. Bled the oil pipe all OK. Checked
the pump and started on reserve..

- "RF - Airbox"
Replaced the Airbox bolt with a length of studding and some lock nuts. Splendid
! Sorted out the insurance all now with Carol
Nash a good complete and flexible policy. Collected some more sockets and
spanners from Simon, which helped greatly. Thanks ! There is even talk of the
Family Spanner's return.

- "RF - Airbox"
I found the air filter rattling around and the airbox cover just resting behind
the battery. On investigation the nut (or whatever) that held the airfilter
retaining bolt in place has broken furthermore the airbox is "plastic !!!"
unlike the BM. I wondered if I could just drill out the hole in the centre of
the airbox a bit and thread the retaining bolt through from behind (with a washer)
then be able to fasten the airfilter and cover correctly again ?
Typically no 10mm socket to undo the top retaining bolt for the airbox.. Another
Day !

- "BM - Petrol Pipe"
The BM was still dripping... Further investigation revealed the petrol was dripping
from behind the tap then down over the carb forming a slow drip.. (No comments
please..) Trimmed the Petrol Pipe and refitted - Splendid !
Further investigation of the insurance situation revealed that another bike
could not be added to the policy. So a rethink is required. No more problems
starting either Bike.
